Taxonomy
Callibotys sp. 2; A single undescribed specimen in the Schulze Coll. resembling Sameodes monostictalis Hampson, 1899: 176, from Sabah, Mount Kinabalu.N.P. (PHS, Canopy Walkway) and a single specimen from DVFC in the SLS Coll. Generic position uncertain.
Description
A fulvous sp. FW with two square white spots in the FWdiscocellular area, There are indistinct darker brown basal, post median and sub postmedian lines. The medial area between the spots forms a darker brown rectangle. The HW has darker fulvous antemedian and post median lines. The elongate body is uniformly orange fulvous. Very similar specimens have been recorded from Hong Kong. Cotachena? sp 1 is rather similar. Schulze (2000) taxon #301 ‘Cotachena sp. 4’, SLS taxon DA050.
