Taxonomy
Calamotropha sp. 5. Two specimens of this large unnamed morphotype in the Schulze Coll. Another specimen from DVCA in the SLS-Coll. nr. C. tonsalis Walker 1859 in the Schulze Coll. Another specimen from DVCA in the SLS-Coll.
Description
The FW is ochreous sprinkled with black scales and both wings have a series of elongate black interneural spots on the termen In parts the FW is suffused with pale brown and has two diffuse darker spots at the cell. The angular post medium fascia is represented by a line of darker brown spots. The HW is pearly white with darker veins. The head bears long porrect furry palps and has two ochreous mats of scales extending from the antennal bases over the neck on to the dark brown patagia. The brown abdomen is rather hirsute.
