Taxonomy
Calamotropha sp. 4 nr. C. obliterans (Walker, 1863). Specimens in the HSB and Schulze Colls.
Description
Calamotropha sp. 4 near C. obliterans (Walker, 1863) Two specimens from Sabah (Kota Marudu) in the Schulze Coll , also the HSB & SLS Cols Generic placement uncertain.
There is little fasciation on the brownish or golden straw coloured FW apart from a faint coarsly serrate median line, a pale brown angled curving post median line with a paler line distad. There is an indistinct dark triangle on costa near the FW apex. The termen is lightly crenulate with darger interneural marks. The paler HW is without markings. The large palpi are furry.
