Taxonomy

The holotype of Bradina melanoperas Hampson, 1896: 227 is from Myanmar, E. Pegu

  • syn. Bradina melanoperas sinensis Caradja, 1925: 334
    • TL China, Zhejiang, Hangzhou, Moganshan [Mokanshan]; Guangdong [Canton], Lienping.
    • Infra sp., in Globiz as a ssp.

Description

Totally dull dark brown with a partial curving post-medial line and a large  dark orbicular spot on the FW. The males have short buff anal hair pencils.

Similar to Bradina opacusalis Swinhoe, 1904: 156 and Bradina sp. 3.
