Taxonomy

Botyodes? sp. 5 Live specimens from W. Malaysia (Fraser's Hill). Photographed by David Fischer.

Description

A yellow species with orange brown transverse markings. The FW has a discocellular mark outlined in brown and the both wings have marginal neural dots and patches of brown on the submarginal fascia.  The shapes of the transverse lines differs from Botyodes diniasalis. The fasciation is almost the same as Botyodes sp. 4 but the intensity of the markings is very much less. Especially the definition of the brown marginal marginal patches is very faint. Similar to other Botyodes spp.
