Taxonomy
Botyodes? sp. 3 an un-named species from Indonesia (Sumatra) in the BMNH as Botyodes. It may be a Caldubotys sp. near Caldubotys caldusalis (Walker, 1859: 650).
Description
A fulvous sp. with darker brown markings. On both wings the subtermenal area is delineated from the proximal areas with coarsely dentate boundary. It contains darker brown mottling especially on the FW tornus and the HW apex. This morphotype appears superficially similar to both Botyodes ochracealis (Walker, 1865 [1866 Jan 13]: 1446) and to Caldubotys caldusalis, but it differs in its patterning from either sp. The FW has a hollow centred discocellular spot like B. ochrealis at the proximal end of the cell is a small punctum and it has narrow dark fulvous antemedian and post-median lines similar to C. caldusalis.
