Taxonomy
Holotype, Philippines, Luzon, Benguet. The holotype of Brixia erythroides West, 1932:8 from the Philippines (Luzon) is in the NHM (Mi7397).
ms comb. n. to Beguma (Shaffer, 1992 LepIndex).
Description
A very distinctive blend of golden brown and salmon pink. The costal area is a slightly darker brown with shiny paler patches. The thyridid reticulation is well developed but the wings have few other markings. See the widely distributed Beguma sp. 1 which may prove to be this species.
