Taxonomy
The holotype of Arxama ochracealis Hampson, 1906: 390 1450 is from North Borneo [Sarawak], Mt. [Gng] Mulu. Treated in the Hydrocampinae [Acentropinae] by Hampson as Spilomelinae in Globiz.
Description
Hampson’s description:
FW with vein 11 shortly stalked with 8, 9 & 10. Head and thorax pale brownish ochreous; abdomen ochreous white. FW pale brownish ; an indistinct, very oblique, sinuous, fuscous, antemedial line; a black discoidal point; an indistinct, irregularly dentate, post-medial line, bent outwards below costa and angled inwards in submedian fold; a termenal series of black points. HW white slightly tinged with ochreous; traces of a curved postmedial line; a termenal series of black points.
