Taxonomy
Ambia sp. 1. A series of this un-named sp. from Sabah is in Schulze Coll. It is close to Ambia rhabdotalis Hampson, 1897: 161 but is not that sp.
Description
Both wings are coarsely reticulated in fulvous orange and brown on a white background. The wing margins have series of marginal black points which pass into the cillia. Most obvious on the HW. Thorax and head fuscous. Abdomen fuscous with white banding. Schulze (2000) taxon #666 as Ambia rhabdotalis.
