Taxonomy
The female holotype of Ambia pedionoma West, 1931: 213 is from the Philippine Is. (Palawan I., Taytay (plains)); female para-type, Philippine Is. (Luzon I., prov. Rizal, Montalban (plains)) both are in the BMNH.
Description
A sp. with a distinctive patterning of white looping bands and white spots. See Ambia poritialis Walker below, which is similar but has more complicated angular white patterning edged with darker brown. Specimens in the HSB, SLS & Schulze Colls. Schulze (2000) taxon #965.
