Taxonomy
The holotype of Oligostigma iambealis Walker, 1859: 950 in the BMNH, is from Meghalaya [Khasi Hills].
- syn. Ambia iambesalis Subs. misspell Hampson (1883: 52).
- Nec. syn. Cymoriza albiflavidalis Warren 1896: 223 (Hampson 1896: 205, fig. 121). TL India Meghalaya Khasi Hills [Khasias].
- Nec. syn. Musotima fulvalis Hampson, 1893: 52, 180, pl. 174, fig. 26 (female). Trichophysetis fulvalis Hampson, 1893 TL Sri Lanka [Ceylon], Nawala-pittia [Nawalapitya] is given as subjective syn in LepIndex & Globiz).
Description
A sp. with a distinctive coarse reticulate looping white patterning on an fulvous base. Schulze (2000) taxon #665; a specimen checked against named specimens in the BMNH.
