Taxonomy
The holotype of Aediodes scissalis Walker, [1866] 1865: 1526-7 from Java is in the NHM. A. scissalis and A. magnificalis are distinct from other Agrotera spp and may prove not to be congeneric with the A. basinotata group.
Description
Similar to A. magnificalis Hampson 1893 but it has slightly different wing shape and the HW has an orange basal area. See RTS (1994)
