Taxonomy
The holotype of Oligostigma albidivisa Warren, 1896d: 221 is from India (Khasia Hills). Comb. n. to Agassizella as a good sp. i.e. not syn. with:
- Oligostigma hapilista Swinhoe 1892: 20, pl. 1 fig. 11, T.L. Assam
- syn. Yoshiasu, 1987: 144-145
Description
A mainly orange-fulvous, brown and white sp.. There is a large, dark brown area on the posterior area of the FW extending from the base to the post median position. The basal area of the HW is also dark brown. The FW has a broad white sub-termenal band and a large triangular white mark externding from the costa at the postmedian position. The HW has a narrow white sub-marginal band and a broader white band, post basally. In A. [Oligostigma] angulipennis Hampson 1891 the sub-marginal band is indistinct and in A. haplista it is completely absent. Yoshiyasu (1987) illustrates the male genitalia. Not reported from Borneo.
