Taxonomy
The holotype of Aetholix borneensis Hampson, 1912: 246, from Sarawak (Banting) is in the BMNH.
Description
An uncommon species that is mainly a dark purple brown and lacks the bright yellow and orange wing bases of A. flavibasalis (Guenée, 1854) and similar spp.
